Nymex to list energy futures on CME Globex platform
Nymex will offer its customers round-the-clock electronic trading after signing a deal with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), under which CME will become the exclusive electronic trading services provider for Nymex's energy futures and options contracts.
Until now, Nymex customers could trade electronically only when the open outcry floor was closed, through the Nymex Access platform. From the second quarter, customers will be able to trade Nymex standard-sized and Nymex miNY energy futures
