Brace resigns as chief financial officer at Duke Energy Robert Brace resigned as chief financial officer of North Carolina-based Duke Energy on November 21, three weeks after Paul Anderson took over as chief executive. Brace had been CFO since 2001. Treasurer David Hauser has taken over as acting CFO and is one of the candidates to assume the position permanently. The company says its risk management operation, formerly a separate entity
