Platts hires Kholodnyi Energy and metals information provider Platts has expanded its market forecasting and quantitative analysis group with the hiring of Valery Kholodnyi.
In his new role as natural gas economist, Kholodnyi will apply his extensive market and trading expertise to the development of natural gas and power analytic solutions. He will report to Larry Chorn, chief economist and be based in Boulder, Colorado in the US.
Kholodnyi comes to Platts from Middle Tennessee State University
