El Paso helps RiskMetrics adapt
Enterprise-wide risk management is the new buzz-word in the energy sector, as companies scramble to avoid Enron-like scenarios by keeping a close eye on company-wide risk measurement. Now, New York-based software supplier RiskMetrics Group is working with an energy company for the first time to implement a risk management product it has honed in the financial sector (see box).
