Aliabadi to Gunvor
Russian oil trading firm Gunvor International has appointed Paymon Aliabadi to head up its global energy division, which will cover coal, freight, emissions, renewables, gas and LNG, and will be headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
Aliabadi joins Gunvor from Netherlands-based energy firm Essent trading, where he was managing director. Prior to Essent, Aliabadi worked at global bank Sempra as vice-president of energy and commodities.
