New hires to lead O’Brien’s Houston office
R.J. O’Brien & Associates, an independent futures brokerage, has opened a Houston office to spearhead the firm’s energy brokerage business, hiring two experienced brokers to lead the team.
Steffen van Keppel (above) and Tod Mitchell (below) have both joined the company as senior vice-president, energy.
Most recently, van Keppel was branch manager and first vice-president, and Mitchell was first vice-president, sales, for commodities brokerage Newedge
