Behind China’s great currency wall
The liberalisation of China's currency, the renminbi1 (RMB), has allowed more foreign institutional investment in what had previously been a difficult market to penetrate. Added to this, new rules put in place last year have enabled energy and commodities market players, particularly domestic entities, to enhance risk management capabilities.
