Peniket replaces Ward at IPE

Richard Ward, formerly chief executive of the London-based International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), is to leave the exchange in April following its transition to electronic trading this year. He will assume the new role of vice-chairman of the exchange in the interim. David Peniket replaces Ward in the day-to-day running of the exchange, having been promoted to president in addition to his role as chief operating officer.
