Dow and EDF Trading to cooperate on LNG
Both companies are significant buyers in the wholesale natural gas market. EDF Trading will provide Dow with access to European LNG regasification terminals, while Dow will provide EDF Trading with access to its regas capacity at the Freeport LNG terminal in Texas, expected to begin operation soon.
The companies will be able to compete more effectively in securing LNG supply by offering producers the opportunity to sell LNG based on the higher US or European natural gas prices, according to EDF
