Endex launches TTF gas trading
Amsterdam-based energy exchange ENDEX has begun offering trading in Dutch TTF gas forward contracts. The trading of Hi-caloric gas contracts began on March 31 with the first transaction executed between Eneco and Essent. Gas traders Olaf ter Bille from Eneco and Nikki Goode from Essent traded 30 MW Q1-07 at EUR40.25.
The TTF (Title Transfer Facility, the Dutch virtual natural gas trading hub) gas contracts will initially be non-cleared and based on pre-trade anonymity and post-trade name give-up
