Leading the energy software revolution
Demand for energy trading and risk management software (ETRM) has risen significantly over the past two years, but the final quarter of 2005 saw the biggest surge yet, software vendors report. Houston-based consultancy MRE, who advises clients on business strategy and IT systemswithin the energy sector, says the fourth quarter of last year was the busiest it had ever seen, in terms of clients approaching it for advice in selectingand implementing trading and risk management software systems.
