SAS improves risk management software

Business intelligence provider SAS will launch a revamped version of its SAS(r) Risk Management software by this summer. The upgrade – release 3.3 – is aimed at energy, management and financial organisations trading commodities and derivatives.

It is billed as having enhanced analytical features that will allow traders to simulate market conditions to determine how market fluctuations would affect risk exposure more accurately and faster than before.
