CFTC names new head of enforcement
David Meister has been named head of enforcement at the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He will be taking over from Vincent McGonagle, who has been temporarily holding the role since October 1. Previously, Stephen Obie, the CFTC's New York regional director, had acted as head of enforcement after Gregory Mocek left in 2008.
