Liquidity floods into Powernext Gas
During the last 30 trading sessions since its launch on November 26th 2008 to January 1st 2009, Powernext Gas Spot traded 1081 GWh in 836 trades covering three PEG balancing areas: PEG Nord and Sud of GRTgaz and PEG TIGF. In comparison, during the same time period, spot trades at Germany's combined EGT and GUD hubs on European Energy Exchange (EEX) were 207 GWh and APX Gas spot trades were 40 GWh for the TTF hub.
