Tullett Prebon combines voice and screen trading for energy markets
Tullet Prebon plans to expand the platform, called tpENERGYTRADE, to further power and gas markets in the future, as the technology can accommodate any commodities or asset classes.
“We chose the Ontario power market because we have a unique position there,” says Paul Humphrey, chief executive officer of electronic broking at Tullett Prebon, “as we are one of only two brokers who offer the product, so it represented a strategic advantage”.
