EnCana's CFO to step down
John D Watson, executive vice-president and CFO of EnCana Corporation, plans to step down on February 28, 2006, following completion of the 2005 year-end financial statements. Watson will remain with the company as advisor to the new CFO until year-end 2006. Randy Eresman, who became EnCana's president and CEO on January 1, 2006, has announced the appointment of Brian C. Ferguson, as executive vice-president and CFO effective March 1, 2006.
