Turning points: First Utility’s Ian McCaig

In January this year, UK gas and power supplier First Utility announced Ian McCaig as its new chief executive. A former employee of Nokia and Lastminute.com, McCaig may not have seemed an obvious choice to lead an independent UK energy supplier. But with a track record for breaking the mould and a fixation on transforming consumer behaviour, McCaig is well aligned to a relatively young business whose ambition is to overhaul the UK energy market.
