Senior JP Morgan energy trader departs

Nicolas Dreux, JP Morgan’s London-based head of European gas and power trading, has left the firm.
He is said to be joining Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual – the latest in a string of hires made by the firm since it recruited Ricardo Leiman, the former chief executive of Hong Kong-based commodity trader Noble Group, to run its commodities business earlier this year. They include Nick Brewer, former chief operating officer (COO) of Noble, who took on the post of COO for BTG's commodities
