US Natural Gas House of the Year: JP Morgan
Energy Risk Awards 2012

The bank remained a top gas player in 2011, despite a tough year for many market participants.
Underscoring its dominant position, JP Morgan was ranked number one in terms of market penetration in US over-the-counter energy commodity derivatives among corporates in the latest annual survey of the industry by Greenwich Associates, released in March. JP Morgan is also a huge physical player, marketing 6.7 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas per day and managing more than 60 bcf of storage.
