Evolution Markets opens Singapore coal desk
New York-based energy and environmental broker Evolution Markets is opening a physical coal broking desk at a new office in Singapore. The office is to be headed by Tom Hiemstra, the firm’s New York-based director of coal services, who will become its managing director. Hiemstra has covered coal for Evolution since 2000 and previously worked for Ruhrkohle Trading Corporation and oil major Shell. He also previously served as president of the Virginia
