On May 23, at the beginning of the long Memorial Day weekend in the US, the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) plans to move a few blocks west to its new $228 million headquarters on the edge of the Hudson River.
As well as pretty views of the Statue of Liberty and the adjacent North Cove yacht harbour, the new facility offers some marvellous views inside. It will feature two 25,000-square-foot trading floors, each three storeys high, unimpeded by structural columns, with prices displayed on
