BNP Paribas hires former JP Morgan commodity salesman
David Samuels to head Americas commodity sales for French bank
BNP Paribas has bolstered its US commodities team by hiring David Samuels, a veteran of JP Morgan, as its new head of commodity derivatives sales for the Americas, covering corporate and investor clients.
"David's addition to the platform is another significant appointment for [BNP Paribas's commodity derivatives group] and further underlines our commitment to this space," a New York-based spokeswoman for the French bank said in an email.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Samuels worked at JP Morgan
