Entergy-Koch Trading (EKT) received a subpoena from US commodity regulators seeking information on its natural gas and power trading activities in early April. This came just two weeks after another regulator accused the company of making phoney trades.

The energy trader says it will respond to the subpoena from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) “in a timely manner” and is reviewing records from 2000 and 2001, after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc)
