Dry freight and regulation: Tides of change

As the dust continues to settle after the financial crisis, the dry freight derivatives market, like many others, could face increased oversight of derivative transactions. Traders and brokers of dry bulk forward freight agreements (FFAs) are now trying to anticipate how any new legislation might impact the market.
