New Nymex Texas power futures to settle on broker data
Eight new cash-settled Nymex electricity futures contracts for the Texas market will settle on the SNL Energy Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Broker Index.
The new monthly and daily contracts will provide risk management for the day-ahead market in ERCOT, and are available for trading and clearing on Nymex Clearport.
SNL Energy's index is a next-day ERCOT index based on transactional information from OTC energy brokers Amerex, ICAP and Tullett Prebon. SNL Energy provides data
