TSOs unite in step towards pan-European power market

CASC-CWE will involve transmission system operators (TSOs) in: Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands and will operate a standardised system across all five countries.

The company will act as a single auction office and aims to operate services for the yearly and monthly allocation of power transmission capacity on the common borders of the five countries. Auctions will commence at the end of November.
