Hill climbs to Calpine
Thad Hill has been named as executive vice-president and chief commercial officer at US electricity company Calpine. He will have responsibility for commercial and power operations and will replace Todd Filsinger.
Hill joins Calpine from his position as president of NRG Texas and executive vice president of NRG Energy. Calpine chief executive officer, Jack Fusco welcomes Hill's "proven ability to apply his expertise across both commercial and power operations".
