Energy director-general outlines agenda in exclusive interview
Dominique Ristori took the helm of the Directorate-General for Energy at the European Commission in Brussels on January 1 this year.
In the role, Ristori heads up the department that works with the European commissioner for energy to help push forward European Union energy policy – a task that includes working to complete the integration of the continent's energy market. In effect, he is the EU's most senior civil servant when it comes to energy policy.
