AWEA appoints Bode as CEO
The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has appointed Denise Bode as its new CEO, effective at the start of 2009. She will succeed Randall Swisher, who is retiring after 19 years with the AWEA.
Bode, who is currently CEO of the American Clean Skies Foundation, is a nationally recognised energy policy expert and served for nine years on the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
Bode's experience in the energy field is extensive and includes seven years as president of the Independent Petroleum
