Allegheny Power proposes Maryland plan

The plan follows last year’s controversy in Maryland which saw Constellation Energy propose a 72% rate hike for its utility subsidiary, Baltimore Gas & Electric. The move triggered a protracted legal tussle between Constellation and the Maryland Public Service Commission.
