GM&T enters German power market
Gazprom Marketing & Trading (GM&T) confirmed that the company had begun power trading in Germany, Europe's biggest electricity market, on March 21.
'As well as being the biggest power market in Europe, Germany is attractive to us because it borders eight countries, including France and the Netherlands, and serves as a hub for cross-border power flows', says Keith Martin, GM&T's head of trading. 'Our vision is to be the leading global energy trader'.
