Mercados EMI to advise Russia on regional power market
Unified Energy System (UESR), the largest power holding company in Russia, has hired Madrid-based consultancy Mercados EMI to help it design a regional electricity market for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The World Bank is financing a power market reform project for the CIS region, which is expected to produce a report of recommended reforms in November 2007. Mercados EMI will advise USER on structural and strategic issues related to the design and implementation of the project
