Philip Roberts will replace Alan White as head of power project finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland. White has left to pursue his ambition to open a wine bar in the City of London.

Roberts will report to Andrew Jameson, head of energy and natural resources. Roberts will lead the London-based power team and focus on senior and subordinated debt, financial advisory and equity opportunities as well as working with RBS Sempra Commodities, the newly acquired commodity-trading business.
