Dynegy alumni set up UK trading boutique

Three former Dynegy executives have set up a London-based trading boutique focusing purely on UK gas and power. Foundation Energy, as the boutique is known, has already started trading following a sizeable investment from Illinois-based hedge fund Ritchie Capital Management (RCM). Foundation would not say how much RCM has invested but market participants estimate that RCM has committed somewhere in the region of $45 million.
