TFS hosts weather derivatives auction
Interdealer broker TFS Energy, has held another weather derivatives auction on behalf of a client hedging its temperature-related business risk. TFS Energy solicited bids for heating degree day swaps for the period November 2006 through March 2007 at the following locations: Casper, Wyoming; Denver, Colorado; Grand Island, Nebraska; and Grand Junction, Colorado. The auction transferred in excess of $4,500,000. of risk.
