Spectron brokers first California carbon option

The Climate Action Reserve CRT (Carbon Reduction Ton) Option was a December 2009 Chicago Climate Futures Exchange CRT $8 call with a $0.88 premium. The counterparties involved were CQuest Capital, a carbon finance business, and DigiLog Global Environmental, an environmental fund developed by trading firm TradeLink.
