Lyth sets sail at Baltic

Shipping market information provider the Baltic Exchange has appointed William Lyth as senior freight market reporter.

During his 36-year career in shipping, Lyth worked his way up to director of dry cargo division at Clarksons before moving to Paccship as chartering manager.

Lyth will work in the London-based team of the Baltic Exchange to produce the company's daily shipping indexes and fixtures lists.
