Amerex Brokers, an over-the-counter energy broker and wholly-owned subsidiary of GFI Group, has appointed Kellie Metcalf as vice-president of the newly formed fee-based energy risk management and execution consulting division Amerex Energy Consulting Services (AECS).

Metcalf will be based in Texas and will report to Clay Davis, president of Amerex Brokers. Metcalf was most recently head of power marketing at Fortis Energy. Joining her at AECS will be Tiffany Elliott as senior director and Jason
