Westferry launches commodity fund
Chris Clarke and Hans Summers, previously with Goldman Sachs and Tudor Capital respectively, have launched the Westferry Global Markets Fund, a long-term systematic trend-following hedge fund trading in futures and commodities, which will operate in about 35-40 liquid, transparent markets and uncorrelated markets, and will seek to average 20%-30% net returns.
"The philosophy of our funds is expect the unexpected," says Clarke, Westferry's CEO.
