The bank says it has been fast adding to its over-the-counter commodity derivatives platform since entering that market in May 2004, in order to expand its risk management services for energy clients and broaden its range of structured products for investor clients.

Stewart Peter joins from Standard Bank as a senior trader of fuel oil based in London. He previously ran Standard Bank’s global fuel oil portfolio and has seven years’ experience in the European fuel oil market.
