S&P launches a new version of GSCI index

The new GSCI UCITS Index caps sector weights at 35% annually and complies with the European Union's Undertakings for Collective Investment In Transferable Securities (UCITS) directives.

UCITS is a European directive first enacted by the European Commission in 1985. Its latest version, UCITS III, was created in 2002 and applies to funds marketed to retail investors. A UCITS compliant fund can be freely marketed to the public in all 30 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).
