SG appoints head of metals research
David Wilson has joined Societe Generale as head of metals research. Previously, he was a senior economist at Russian metal mining firm Norilsk Nickel. In his new role, Wilson will be based in London and report to Frederic Lasserre, global head of commodities research. Wilson replaces Stephen Briggs, who left to join Royal Bank of Scotland.
