New global head at Standard Chartered
Michael Bass has taken over as global head of commodities at Standard Chartered in Singapore, to drive the bank's expansion in this sector. He was previously global head of interest rates and foreign exchange. Bass has been succeeded by Nitin Gulabani, global head of rates in Singapore, and Richard Leighton, London-based global head of foreign exchange.
