GFI opens Singapore biofuel desk

Searle is managing director of oil for GFI in Asia and reports to Jurgen Breuer, GFI’s head of Asia. “GFI has a good record in helping new markets develop and we intend to continue this with biofuel,” says Searle. “Given GFI’s experience in the related Asian oil and freight markets, we are also looking at offering biodiesel swaps, physical freight and freight swaps.”
