DOE announces $2.4bn in CCS funding

Speaking at a meeting of the National Coal Council today, Chu said the funds would be used to expand and accelerate the commercial deployment of CCS technology. The funding is part of the Obama Administration's ongoing effort to develop technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
