Evolution Markets creates Singapore physical coal desk
New York-based energy and environmental broker Evolution Markets is opening a physical coal broking desk at a new office in Singapore.
The new office is to be headed by Tom Hiemstra, the firm’s New York-based director of coal services, who will become managing director of the new office. Hiemstra has covered coal for Evolution since 2000 and previously worked for German-based Ruhrkohle Trading Corporation and oil major Shell.
