Spectron Group, a leading global energy broker, has opened a new coal desk in London. The desk is co-headed by Nick Lygoe and Griff Durbridge, who were both previously senior coal brokers at TFS. They are joined by Everton Davis, who has more than 10 years' experience of energy markets and broking.

The desk, which started operations in February, will focus on broking financially-settled coal swaps as well as dark spreads - taking advantage of Spectron's position in European electricity.
