- JPMorgan has hired Jay Horine as a managing director in the energy group. Horine comes from Goldman Sachs where he also worked as a managing director in their power group. At Goldman Sachs, Horine was instrumental in a number of high-profile strategic power transactions, including representing Ameren in its purchase of Illinois Power and Cilicorp; and Dominion Resources on its sale of Dominion Peoples and Dominion Hope Utilities to Equitable Resources.
