Heilmann hired by Baltic Exchange

Per Heilmann has been appointed chairman of the Baltic Exchange's Freight Market Information Users' Group (FMIUG) wet section. He replaces Barry Bednar. Heilmann is currently vice-president of derivatives trading and risk management at shipping company Heidmar.

The FMIUG advises the Baltic Exchange on its freight market indices and route assessments and is made up of ship owners, charterers, operators and freight derivative traders.
