UtiliPoint hires new vice-president

Martin Dunlea has joined research provider UtiliPoint as its vice-president for consulting. Dunlea was chief information officer at Irish energy firm Bord Gais eireann, where he implemented the BGE market opening transformation programme.

Prior to BGE, Dunlea was global IT director for Avid Technology.

UtiliPoint focused more on Europe in 2007 with the appointment of Gary Vasey as general manager for its European operations. Dunlea will report to Vasey in his new role. "Martin's focus will be on
